Happy 2021 everyone! I think it’s safe to say that 2020 is a year that none of us will ever forget but are also ready to move away from. Mike and I are definitely ready to put this past year behind us and look forward to what this year has to bring. If you read our Home page then you know we are a homesteading family working on building an at home business.
This year on the homestead, we have a lot of work to do with getting some new structures built and finishing Mikes workshop. Along with all of that, we are also focusing on getting our business built and providing unique products for all of you.
The goal I have for this blog is to share with you what we do, make, build, and live. Life on a homestead is usually never boring (well the winter is a little slow) with lots of projects going on. Everything from gardening, canning, building, tending animals, and now we’re adding in handmade products. Along with all of that we are also a homeschooling family (yes we do this by choice). There are a lot of things that I make for our homestead that we don’t sell but may consider in the future. Things like crochet hats for the cold weather, wash rags for various household cleaning, blankets to keep us warm, and some clothing items.
In our shop, we are working on various ideas and as of now have a growing selection of earrings that I make on my embroidery machine. Mike makes some wooden earrings when he has time and will be expanding his abilities to other items when his shop is finished. I am also working on expanding this year to offering one of a kind assorted bags and accessories. Since everything is made by hand, no 2 items will be exactly alike!
We love the unique life that we live and look forward to sharing it with all of you. Once we get our newsletter setup please feel free to sign up so you can stay up to date on many different things, including new products that hit the shop and any sales that we run! Have a blessed weekend everyone, I’ll be back soon with more of FNM Creations at the Montgomery Homestead!
Love and Light,
The Montgomery’s
